Aon is looking for a Account Manager / Marine

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Reinsurance Solutions department in Istanbul.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics
• Minimum 4 years experience
• Having worked in technical or sales positions in elementary insurance sector, specialized in marine
• Having skills to understand the needs of customers and their expectations
• Following and investigating improvements in the sector they serve
• Having good relationships with people, self-disciplined, be able to work with the team
• Using MS Office programmes effectively
• Want to develop himself/herself, want to learn, having improved sense of responsibility
• Having advanced level of English 

Job Description

• Following the marine products and pricing policies of different insurance and reinsurance companies ( Marine Cargo, marine liability , hull , property and casualty )
• Receiving offers from local and global markets and managing placement process
• Maintaining the policy making stages of the proposals 
• Providing coordinated process management with Aon Turkey internal units and Global Aon offices
• Client servicing , understanding their needs and responding back to them in time ; including periodic visits
• Marketing activities , research on Marine Sector and prospect clients
