QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

What you need is…

  • University degree, MBA with HR focus or Master of Human Resources preferred
  • Excellent command verbal and written communication skills in English
  • 5+ years of work experience in Human Resources, in-depth recruitment and training & development processes (various recruitment technics, headhunt, analysis of the training needs, measurements of the training results – ROI, etc.)
  • SAP experience an asset
  • Good understanding of the complex business operating models, processes and the key business context
  • Being flexible for working hours in Canada
  • No military service obligations for male candidates

 

Job Description

As the Supervisor of Recruitment and Training & Development processes at our new distribution center in Izmir/ Turkey, you will remotely drive “HR Recruitment and Training” works for our Canadian Headquarter.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Canadian headquarters’ recruitment and training & development processes through global systems and procedures
  • Conduct resume and phone screens with applicants
  • Coordinate all interviews, including scheduling with interviewers and candidates
  • Draft job descriptions and job postings that accurately describe the company’s roles and their requirements as well as appeal to job seekers
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-fill and cost-per-hire)
  • Identify training & development needs with a view to enhance productivity, building internal capabilities & quality, develop advanced instruments to measure training results - evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and trainers (ROI) (both for Turkey and Canada teams)
  • Assess employees’ needs for training
  • Align training with the organization’s strategic goals
  • Create a training budget and keep operations within budget
  • Develop training programs that make the best use of available resources
  • Update training programs to ensure that they are current
  • Oversee the creation of online learning modules and other educational materials for employees
  • Review training materials from a variety of vendors and select materials with appropriate content
  • Train the employees in accordance with the contents of the SOP materials (Standard Operating Procedures)
