QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
BA/BS degree in Visual Design, Interaction Design, HCI, related field or equivalent practical experience.
At least 5 years of work experience with printed & interactive media and web design.
E commerce sector experience
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
Interest in campaign & promotion, printed media, digital banners, google social media interfaces.
A good understanding of e-commerce and marketplace business model.
Strong sense of graphic & visual design, including typography, color theory, and grid systems.
Online portfolio with current work available to show.
Ability to handle tight deadlines.
Ability to offer and accept consistent critique of design work.
Report to Design Manager
Work closely with visual designers supervisors to ensure the experiences maintain high standards of visual design and brand consistency.
Partner with related category managers, advising on image creation and layout, to meet creative and usiness goals.
Generate ideas and visual explorations for branded customer experience.
Undertake individual and team projects to develop engaging visual design techniques.
Understand and apply brand and visual guidelines.
Present design work to visual designers, visual design supervisor, design manager and category managers for review and feedback.
Participate in team meetings, idea generation, and constructive-critique of output by the entire team.
