A Leading Food Industrial Company looking for
Maintenance Manager:
The Maintenance Manager role is responsible for the safe and effective execution of maintenance and repair of all equipment associated with the Food plant. Supervise a staff of maintenance personnel. Plan and conduct major outages. Implement and direct effective PdM, PM, lubrication, and contractor management programs. Responsible for maintenance budget and expenses while achieving a high level of equipment reliability.
Primary job functions
- Ensure that the facility and all personnel operate safely at all times and promote an environment where safety and environmental compliance is the number one priority.
- Follow standard safety procedures, correct safety and environmental hazards. Lead by example in all of these areas.
- Thoroughly and promptly investigate any accidents or near misses in conjunction with the management team to ensure that any unsafe practices or conditions are addressed and eliminated immediately.
- Interview, select, hire, supervise, council, train, develop, promote, discipline and evaluate performance of maintenance staff.
- Foster and promote a culture of teamwork between maintenance staff and all other plant teams.
- Maintaining equipment in accordance with corporate standards, manufacturer's recommendations and industry best practices
- Specifying maintenance methods, procedures, and controls to ensure the quality of materials, parts, and workmanship
- Ensuring maintenance personnel are appropriately qualified
- Inspecting areas periodically to ensure safety and housekeeping requirements are maintained
- Monitoring the overall effectiveness of the maintenance program and incorporating program changes based on lessons learned from plant history, performance, worker observations, and industry experience
- Monitoring and Controlling the maintenance budget
- Monitoring and controlling contractor usage in order to make sure that only the required amount of contractors is used based on plant maintenance needs.
Required
- Bachelor degree in Engineering field or equivalent experience required.
- 10+ years of Food plant experience coordinating maintenance activities preferred. Project Management experience preferred.
- Computer based maintenance management experience required.
- Experience in ERP System ( AX Microsoft Dynamics) is preferred .
- Fluent in English Language.
