Process Manager

We are seeking process managers who will be responsible for pyro-processing and/or grinding operations in our Cement Plants. These positions will directly report to Operations Vice General Manager of Akçansa Cement.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering)
• Minimum 8 years professional experience in the cement industry with 5 years in pyro-processing and / or grinding operations, work experience in an international company is an asset
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Strong cost awareness in terms of business economics
• Demonstrated deep experience in project management, problem solving and creativity, decision taking in complex projects in international environment
• High self-awareness and learning agility
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Flexible to travel abroad

JOB DESCRIPTION

*Support and consult cement plants in the field of production and process engineering

• With special focus on kiln, pre-heater, clinker cooler, raw meal grinding process, alternative fuel burning, grinding mills, roller presses, separators and expert systems
• Perform performance tests and plant audits
• Judgement of measuring results and advice for improvements to maximize performance
• Participation in operational performance meetings (pyroprocessing/ grinding)
• Provision of process-related and operational techniques
• Conducting studies including EVA calculations
• General process design and review
• Evaluation of operation coefficients
• Commissioning and optimization of production facilities
• Design and coordination of on the job process trainings

*Support Master and Capex plans procedures

*Work on investment and non-investment projects

• feasibility / profitability study (IRR, NPV, EVA)
• select the most suitable pyroprocess and grinding technologies and equipment
• lead or participate in the commissioning and performance testing

*Support acquisition projects by evaluating cement plants and supporting technical due diligence

*Support and fertilize group wide knowledge management in the field of production and process engineering
