JOB DESCRIPTION

•      Work with an empathetic attitude and if there is any problem which cannot be handled, must contact directly Banquet Manager/Asst. Banquet Manager or F&B Manager.
• ·         Ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and attentively in the working area

• ·         Attend regular meeting and briefing to keep informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments
• ·         Take order from any food & beverage menus

• ·         Ensure all mise en place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening hour of service
• ·         Follow the leadership of the captain or supervisor on shift

• ·         Have a good knowledge of all menu and F&B day to day activities
• ·         Recommend and promote items as directed by the Asst. Banquet Manager

• ·         Maintain at all times the highest standard of social skills
• ·         Provides Management with creative ideas

• ·         Report maintenances faults
• ·         Make every effort to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of guest’s requests throughout service

• ·         Ensure that you’re working area is of exemplary clean nature
• ·         Ensure guest / room charges at points of sales are correct

• ·         Ensure that you are aware and informed of all products the resort use for restaurant service
• ·         Have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort

• ·         Fully understand the team goals and objectives, ensuring that the maximum is done to achieve the targets
• ·         Be present throughout service

• ·         Have knowledge of guests’ likes and dislikes throughout their stay
• ·         Always strive to perform any additional and responsibilities given

• ·         Complete any other duty assigned by management
• ·         Arrive on time in full uniform in accordance with the company grooming guideline

QUALIFICATIONS

• ·         Knowledge of banquet procedures, set up and service
• ·         Very good command over written and spoken English
• ·         An offering of local language and their customs is highly encouraged
•           Excellent communicator with the ability to multitask

• Have prior experience within a similar luxury hotel/established restaurant environment.
• Be fun, energetic and have a passion for hospitality.
