QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company, including regular senior level interactions. 
  • Be the eyes and ears of the CEO and a chief problem solver 
  • Lead the day-to-day management of the CEO office and to act as a gate-keeper 
  • Anticipate, prioritize and prepare CEO for travel, meetings and presentations. Participating in business meetings and preparing meeting minutes, and following up on meetings and actions 
  • Monitor tasks delegated by CEO to ensure achievement within agreed deadlines 
  • Prepare correspondence, expense and statistical reports and presentations, flag issues to the CEO 
  • Carry out research and relevant studies on specific topics related to business, policy and others as required and prepare reports on findings 
  • Co-ordinating cross functional teams to ensure expected deliverables of CEO Office 
  • Build relationships with others both internally and externally and assist with queries where necessary 
  • Act as an intermediary if CEO is away and staff has strategic priority questions and work with staff to ensure that the CEO’s needs are conveyed, that progress is being made in a timely way. 
  • Manage and coordinate visits of high level officials and business contacts making sure they are properly guided, introduced and welcomed 
  • Provide other business operational support for the CEO


  • Experience of working with data and translating into simple content 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members and external partners 
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. 
  • Contribute positively and pro-actively to new and changing situations, 
  • Can manage a heavy workload with strict deadlines 
  • Flexible and willing to take on ad-hoc tasks 
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team 
  • Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability. 
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
