Purchasing & Planning Engineer -Power Transformers

We seek for young, ambitious "Purchasing & Planning Engineer" who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB in Power Transformers in Kartal location in Istanbul with below qualifications;

Your background;

• University degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering,
• 1-2 years of planning and/or purchasing experience in a similar field.
• Analytical mind with strong planning and self-learning skills, team work oriented,
• Very good command of written and spoken English, 
• Completed military service for male applicants,
• Available for international travels.

Your responsibilities;

• Material and Inventory planning activities,
• Control and follow-up of production activities,
• Purchasing and order follow up according to production and material planning,
• Coordination between Workshops, Suppliers and related departments within the company,
• Following up the material transactions, collecting and reporting of the planning and purchasing data,
• Following the supplier performences, abilities and non conformences,  
• Searching for new suppliers and products, approval of new suppliers,
• Assisting to Supply Chain Manegement department when forming new conracts,
• Involving the improvement projects in the related fields
• Purcahsing of indirect materials, fixed assets and investment items.
