QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job objectives

In this position your are responsible for new business development with all the company’s products in the area, including servicing and maintaining the previous and potential business with the existing customers in the territory Within the scope of business, the sale of technology / machines, material and support contracts are equally important.

 

Your Responsibilities

-      Generation of Orders for all our technology, equipment, support contracts and material supplies as well as managing relationship with customers. Ensure Order-Entry and Revenue Targets in the territory and with named key-accounts are achieved.

-      Ensure growth of business above market average

 

Management of Sales and Service in the Region

-      Ensure Margin targets by meeting Price Realization (average above Target Prices)

-      Participate in 3ddt  Marketing strategy in territory

-      Act as main interface between client and customers

-      Participate in client’s Business Planning to represent market requirements in the territory as defined

-      Cost Management of Sales-Expenses

 

According to client QM-System for marketing process:

-      Making offers within the rules set by QM system for Order Generation

-      Order Generation

-      Negotiation of Contracts

-      Product- and Company Presentations

-      Arrange product testing with prospects

-      Close Contracts and final checking

-      Manage agents within the territory

-      Active follow-up and support incl. recognition and development of new projects within target companies

-      Provide regular and comprehensive feedback on market trends and competitive actions

-      Accompany customers and potential customers to 3ddt re: equipment demos etc.

-      Prospecting and targeting for new prospective business and clients with special emphasis on e-manufacturing

-      Feedback of customer’s and prospect’s expectation into the client organization

-      Monthly Forecast (Order Entry, Revenue) for financial and production planning

-      Documentation of sales projects, progress on sales projects and customer information

-      Manage customer projects and maintain Project Files

   

Your Background

-      Education to degree level in either mechanical engineering, computer science with focus on C-techniques or similar career

-      Proven Sales experience of 3 in the areas of CAD/CAM, Machine Tools or Laser-Technology.

-      Expertise in Selling Rapid Prototyping systems is an advantage

-      Sales Experience in the territory mandatory

-      Efficient in English Language – verbal and writing efficiency to close complex contracts; German would be an additional asset

-      Willingness to travel within the Region extensively

-      Business Orientation to ensure that 3ddt  interest as well as customers interest are matched

-      High level of self-motivation

-      A Team-Player and be ability to communicate very well

-      Creative thinking for successfully matching technology capability with customer requirement

-      Objective-oriented and ability to work independently, based on the 3ddt  Vision, the 3ddt  values, the goals set in annual plans as well as the results of various decision making groups such as the Regional Managers Meeting

-      Flexible and able to adapt easily to changing environments

-      Presentable Personality able to represent 3ddt  in the public and versus customers
