Our Client is an international firm in building materials industry manufacturing catalysts, adhesives and chemicals mainly for building industries in international market. For more than 20 years of experience with its plants in Turkey, the company has been providing innovative products, technologies, and services that enhance the products and processes of our customer partners around the world.

Currently, we are in search of a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for purchasing, planning and logistics operations. This position will be directly reporting to Managing Director.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the team of purchasing/logistics and planning in order to achieve company goals,
• Being the focal point for all the global regional projects in cooperation with HQ management,
• Purchasing all necessary goods; raw materials, packaging, consumables and services at the right time, at the right price and from the right suppliers,
• Finding new/additional suppliers, managing supplier evaluation process and price negotiations,
• Fulfilling all responsibilities regarding Foreign Operations, dealing with custom consultant in order to solve spot-problems on import,
• Monitoring warehousing and distribution processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments and fully possessing the process of preparing and receiving shipments,
• Organizing the production planning process minimizing the level of stock and maximizing the satisfaction of clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university, preferably in engineering or related departments, 
• At least 3 years of experience of shipping, sourcing, planning and purchasing in a production environment,
• Strong problem solving, communication and negotiation skills, 
• Comfortable with travelling domestic and abroad and having driving license,
• Excellent team player with enthusiasm, curiosity and willingness to learn,
• Strong interpersonal skills with ‘can do’ attitude,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Residing in Izmir.
