Wellspect Turkey is looking for a “Plant Manager” for the Manufacturing plant in Ankara area. The plant is producing intermittent catheters and is the main production plant for our value branded catheters and is also a significant manufacturing site for our premium products. In total 250 committed employees work in the plant that operates in shift. The manufacturing consists of assembly, coating, packaging and sterilization with the highest respect for quality in all process steps.

For this role we are looking for a Plant Manager with:

• Excellent leadership skills and who acts with unquestionable integrity
• Demonstrated excellence in leading teams with successful collaboration
• Minimum 10 years of production experience and at least 3 years of experience from similar roles, preferably in an international company
• A master, major or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Experience and understanding of working in a global matrix organization in an international context
• Experience in the healthcare sector, which would be seen as an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically
• The ability to develop strong commercial strategies and have effective links with vendors and internal customers
• The ability to quickly drive results in a fast-changing environment as well as the ability to cultivate strong internal and external relationships
• Good negotiation skills and problem-solving capacity
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Proficiency in English (both speaking, writing and understanding)
• A pro-active mind-set, being self-motivated and who is willing to take on great responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for leading the Wellspect Kazan management team consisting of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, QA/RA, Sales and HR.
• Responsible for leading Wellspect Kazan including sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of the products. This shall be done in accordance, and in compliance with corporate policies, the quality and environmental management systems within Wellspect HealthCare, existing laws and regulations as well as standards and agreements. The plant manager is also responsible for the compliance of safety, health and environment for the plant.
• Coordinate and support the work of various departments involved in production, warehousing and distribution of goods. Monitor performance and implement improvements.
• Ensure quality of products. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity. Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery. Provide technical support where necessary.
• Responsible for the legal entity. Make sure that the site is compliant due to safety, health and environmental issues. Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions for the site such as Finance, IT and HR.
• Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
• Challenge and explore to always be better than yesterday, which is done in close cooperation with the plant management team and through teamwork
• Member of the Sr. Operations Management Group. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.
