KEY ATTRIBUTES:
• Market research background with experience in the Automotive and/or Financial Services industries, preferably both. Or Automotive and/or Financial Services industries background with solid understanding of Marketing Advertising and Market Research
• Strong, proven analytical skills with track record of insight delivery, either from agency or client-side.
• Passionate about building client relationships, with a demonstrated track record of driving sales, revenue and new business opportunities.
• Skilful in driving client interest and new business through creative proposal of Nielsen capabilities providing optimum solutions to key client business issues.
• Short-term results orientated, competitive, and a high-energy self-starter
• Strong negotiator and a deal closer, comfortable in challenging and influencing at all levels
• Independent worker, who contributes to the overall objectives of a team with an ability to build strong networks across both verticals and the wider Nielsen business
• Excellent communication skills, ability to read other’s styles and adapt behaviour accordingly
• Strong local market knowledge, with ability to grow external network across Verticals
PRE-REQUISITES:
• BA / BS Required (MBA desirable) or equivalent business experience
• 10 to 15 years research related roles with focus on the Automotive and/or Financial Services Industries, preferably both.
• Familiarity with different groups of customers, both Automotive and FS is a must
• Knowledge of statistics and multivariate analysis an advantage
• Fluent in English
JOB PURPOSE:
The Automotive & Financial Services Client Business Partner (CBP) is a pivotal role in Nielsen’s New Verticals business and key to our growth strategy. Based in Istanbul and focused on the Automotive and Retail Financial Services sector (retail banks, insurance companies, credit card companies), the CBP will work as part of a European team, across our four Practice Areas. Using our expansive data and measurement capabilities, the CBP will provide market context and confidence to our clients and a precise understanding of their consumer, whilst driving Nielsen presence in these sectors and generating revenue opportunities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Identify areas of business opportunity and growth for the Automotive and Financial Services Verticals in the local market.
• Manage and service a group of clients, maintain and grow client base in order to achieve planned financial objectives based on individual revenue target and other operational performance indicators.
• Work closely with the European Automotive and FS teams to develop go-to market strategies that will deliver maximum reach across the target client portfolio.
• Provide value adding product solutions and benefits to client business issues by developing strategic initiatives for each client. Create opportunities for more advanced / customised Nielsen services and in order to transform ad-hoc business into longer term relationships.
• Work across the four Nielsen Practice Areas to support the delivery of comprehensive end-to-end consumer insights for clients.
• Work with broader departments, such as Client Service, Global Business Services (GBS) and Brand teams to ensure alignment and buy-in.
• Oversee the management and conduct of assigned research projects including preparation, approval and delivery of proposals, reports and presentations.
• Utilise with creativity the tools available within the wider organisation to generate leads and develop engagement plans, such as Marketing & Communications calendars, commercial sales drives, category sales data and CRM toolkits.
