Koç University will be hiring a ''Project PhD Candidate" to work on the Project of “Mapping, understanding, assessing and predicting the effects of remote working arrangements in urban and rural areas” especially working and living condition focus  with the following qualifications:

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the project coordinator, participate in business planning, assist in project management, and fulfill related tasks.
• Engage in scientific and academic duties.
• Participate in relevant activities for international projects and offer support.
• Collaborate in the management and delivery of interdisciplinary, high-impact research projects.
• Contribute to publications in peer-reviewed journals.

This position is suitable for individuals pursuing a PhD degree who are interested in gaining experience in research, academic collaboration, and project management. It is a full-time, two-year appointment, offering opportunities for professional development.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in a relevant field such as Public Health, or related disciplines like medical school, psychology, sociology, occupational health and safety, etc.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
• Proficiency in primary and secondary research procedures, academic assistance, planning and organization, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with academic software and tools, MS Office, scientific software, quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Open-mindedness and willingness to support multiple projects and project coordinators in academic tasks and communications.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment.
