QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

In this position, you will be the expert in delivering competitive bids, estimates and quotes to customers for MV primary AIS projects in Electrification, Distribution Solutions in Kocaeli (Dilovası); Turkiye.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting the local sales organizations and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions during the preparation of offers,
  • Providing technical support and consultation during the technical meetings, product presentations, negotiations and offers product/ solution/service-related training,
  • Leading the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements in coordination with Local Business Line/feeder factory indications and Sales organization directives,
  • Negotiating the customer contract T&C's, and align them with ABB T&C’s,
  • Running the Global and Local RR process, where necessary,
  • Providing information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participates in the risk review assessment,
  • Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization,
  • Defining cost for the proposed solutions and communicating it to the Sales organization. 

Your background

  • University degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering,
  • At least 4 years or more MV Switchgear sales/tendering experience,
  • Strong background in Medium Voltage systems and switchgears including technical offering, design and clarifications,
  • Experience in contractual negotiation is highly preferred,
  • Strong ability to present the product and organization technically and commercially, Good command of written and spoken English (Arabic will be a strong asset),
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Applications,
  • No restriction to travel abroad if needed.
