Now we are looking for a high caliber Business Controller resident in Izmir who reports to the country manager (expatriate) as well a global controller located in Amsterdam/The Netherlands.
• Graduated from Business Administration, Economy or related departments of prominent universities.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in international business environment.
• Proactive, analytical, committed and quality oriented business controller with high integrity skills
• Strong leadership both for managing the finance team and influencing key stakeholders in the company
• Perfect communications skills is required
• The candidate needs to be a self-starter with a drive for execution and wants to work in a dynamic environment.
• Good command of the English is a prerequisite.

İŞ TANIMI
The candidate works in a dedicated team of professionals in Izmir, and has functional contacts with controllers of the Group and accounting organizations. The Company holds 5 legal entities and a full blown service operation that can offer geothermal consultancy, drilling operations and well testing.
Your Activities and Accountabilities:
• To ensure excellence in all related accounting processes as well as compliance to local accounting principles and tax legislation; and
• To monitor and optimize the liquidity and solvability of The Company in view of the company’s long term goals of maximizing added value; and
• To develop, implement and maintain adequate planning & control tools, structures and systems, to facilitate and support management decisions and identify, address, mitigate and prevent risks; and
• To operate as a prepared discussion partner on plans, projects, investments, tax structures etcetera, ensuring adequate attention to P&L, CF, BS, Capex and risk items in decision making.
• Help lead the company in its growth phase
General Duties:
• Accounting: To develop, implement and maintain excellence in all related accounting activities and processes and ensure full compliance to all local accounting principles and tax legislation;
• Coach and further develop 1-2 accounting team members;
• Administrative organization and internal control;
• To develop, implement and maintain a Manual Administrative Organization in The Company
• To manage the processes of external audit and tax declarations;
• To ensure that adequate internal controls are established and maintained, especially in the areas of cheque and bank payments signatories and
• Authorizations (incl. hedging contracts), letters of credit, bank guarantees, ordering from suppliers, commissions and provisions for commissions, rebates on purchases and sales, loan agreements, hire purchases and leases with group companies, partner companies or third parties.
• Consolidation and reporting: To report periodic financial reports to the Management of The Company,
• To analyze the periodic performances, to propose corrective actions and co-ordinate the explanations and narratives;
• Be a valued team member in the management team of The Company and work very closely with the whole team to ensure operational activities are correctly translated to financial results;
• To liaise with Auditors and Tax consultants on audit, tax and statutory reporting issues.
• To liaise with insurance brokers/companies to co-ordinate local policies to ensure full cover is maintained in consultation with the shareholders.
